New car ordered!

Sounds like a good buy!

Sorry you'll be leaving the CLS fold though. Enjoy the last of that V8 soundtrack before the trade in.
It's given me 21/2 years of pleasure & yes i will miss the v8-truly the best car i've owned by some margin.

Ha ha! So the heart ended up ruling the head :D

Good as the latest 4-pot diesel's are in the W212, the V6 CDI is in a different league. My E350CDI still makes me smile when I give it a boot full :thumb:

Congrats on the purchase and the deal.
Totally agree(thanks to the test drives).

Great choice! That 350cdi engine is a peach! Rode a few times in Boss's E350cdi and the power makes my eyes water! :D

By the way, what did you think of the coupe?
Love the coupe Barry but common sense(& a nudge from the mrs)prevailed-the deal on the saloon was too good.

I thought i would get your blessing steve, the v6 cdi is very smooth & quick when needed(only a second slower 0-60 than my cls).

Your car will be fine. Heard no issues with the later V6 engine. Do be aware its a DPF equipped car so be mindful of the need for it to get a good run from time to time.

Less bad press with 7g + and the V6 really is the engine for that large car. Don't get me wrong, the 4s are fine, but at the price you paid, its a no brainer.

Edit, you need to get those rear windows tinted...

Thanks for the heads up on the dpf-my daily run is 26 mile round trip in light traffic(6am) & a run down the coast to my mums once a month(110 mile round trip) should do the trick!

My E320cdi was nice to drive, I drove a C320cdi and you were more aware there was a very large mass ahead of you. Stunning level of power. Hilarious.

The CLA is a style more than substance car, they'll shift heaps. The C250cdi is probably the C class to have IMHO. The E to have is the 350cdi and if they made it the S to have is the 420cdi one if you could get it over here

Didnt realise there was a 420CDI, epic !

I take it you saw the pics on mb Croydons website before they took them off?(agree-rear tints will look good especially with the pano roof).

I never saw them. I'll just await yours;)

BTW is the car new or just unsold stock. When was it registered. IIRC the 125 editions haven't been sold for a while? Given its colour/spec it should have flown off the fourcourt for more than you paid;)

Just make sure everything is just so with the car thats all. It sounds to good to be true.

Thanks Mika it's also my 3rd mb thats iridium silver/black leather- i must like the combination:D

i really like a black interior
many say its boring but its safe...

my wifes E350 estate has beige leather ooooh so loud

but as *** might agree a proper interior is cloth
