New to me - E63

seems there is quite a few AMG owners on here from N.I ? Maybe get a meet up organised some time ?

@carsandcoffee show last weekend there were 2x w212 e63's at down royal racecourse.
One facelift and one pre-facelift and both white

Ah yes I was admiring it - beautiful car

My CLS was down the other end

Get it done :bannana:

Seems I'm lagging behind on events, was ripping I missed the Cars&Coffee day the other week.

The good thing I've noticed is that there are very few e63's here in NI.

Don't know if its a good thing or bad, but the car seems to attract a lot of attention, the C63 didn't appear to do this.

Anyone else notice this?
Maybe it because its white and stands out like a sore thumb being so rare on the roads here.
I can't remember the last time I saw another E63 driving around N.I, certainly have seen a number of C63's on the road.
I was parked up in my local town on Saturday, and probably a dozen or so people either stopped walking to look, or had double takes, so that was the first time I'd noticed the attention it gets.

Having come from a life time on M car ownership the most noticeable thing I have experienced is watching the odd window suddenly crack open as you are passing by. Seems those who know whats coming cant quite get enough of that AMG burble.

Really want some downpipes to amplify the turbo whistle myself now.

I've had that many times today. Where did you get your car from then - locally?
Any photos of it on here?

That was me on Sunday when along side a black one on the Upper Newtownards Road...the window was open...but dropped fully as I was alongside.:D

Through a dealer friend Shaun, its identical to your own spec wise (I think)

No not yet, been super busy this past few weeks and we've a baby on the way so I am not getting much time to get some decent pics.

I bought one in November to replace a C63 and it is a much better car in so many ways. More comfortable, handles better, better performance, better MPG.....the list goes on.

Hope you enjoy it mate.

Ha, thanks to next doors cat, I've just discovered I have a kick to operate boot - or whatever term its known as.
I knew already I had the self closing boot, but not this neat feature.

I was getting stuff out of the boot earlier, next thing I hear a noise, then the boot began to close.
So the cat must have triggered the sensor. :D

Very handy when your hands are full, after dragging the body out of the boot to bury them late at night...

I mean um, when you take er... the shopping in when your arms are full.

Had a similar thing happen with my E63.

Putting something in the boot when "bong" and it starts to close as next door's cat wanders out from under the car...

:D :D :D
