For users of the TomTom £00 etc new software is available , it has some quite good features and it puts a backup feature on your pc. N.B. you lose your favorites, unless some one can tell me how to save them.

Yes, found that out already! Also the overall colour scheme and the one I use most frequently (Brittania) appears to have changed slightly. More orange now which I do not like.

is a color scheme editor for the tomtom which allows you to create any scheme you like.
I've used it for my tomtom go, and it works a treat.

It seems to me that the max screen brightness on the daylight setting has diminished following the software upgrade. Pretty sure it was a lot easier to see before!

My Tomtom One updated fine (via the Tomtom Home PC application) - all the recent destinations, favourites etc all intact.

Have you tried the Buddy app from the PC to "your mate" on the M6 - a novelty for a while anyway....
