Could say it's one of my all time cars that i've wanted to own.

It's a 1987 E, 87k with a nice FSH and history folder. (I wont bore you all with it unless you wanna know more)

Have been lurking on and off, but just picked my new toy up yesterday.

Will get some pics up soon. It's great to be back behind the wheel of a 3 pointed star!

Thanks to all for your help and replies on other threads so far, much appreciated.

Good on you. Nice choice of car. Some photos would be nice when you have time.

Very nice! I wonder if the present Mercs will ever be classics, my dad had an old 1963 190 E in blue . That's what started my love affair with MB, but never owned one until now. Love the car.

Wow I bet you can't wait for the sunshine
Beautiful car :thumb:

Congratulations, it looks very nice, I hope you are pleased with it.:D

It even has the "marmite" spoiler, which wasnt standard on the 300.

Is the hand on the forehead for the realisation of how much it's cost you? :D:devil:

Lol. That's the Mrs. We stopped half way so she could drive the rest of the way, no idea why she looks so ****** off

Thanks. It has exactly the sort of history you'd want when looking for a car like this. Lowish number of owners, guy I bought it off cherished and treasured it for 13 long years.

As for that spoiler... Like Marmite... I hate it!

Great looking car. I would love to own one someday.

Do you mean the color? If so is 265 cream

Yes, i meant the colour / it's name (you see so many: Magnolia, mushroom, MB-tex).... just wondered what the correct name is for mine. I'll take some better pictures soon!

Hi Timper that is a lovely car. Welcome to the forum
Thanks Trainer. Picked it up, brought it home, cleaned it and parked it in the garage under a cover!:rolleyes:

Weather has been rubbish! Looking forward to using it one of these days!

Try and get a set of the chrome wiper blades, look much better than the black ones.

Looks nice.:)
