Nice clean SEC

Whenever I see a car with those chrome jobs on the wheel arches it always shouts RUST to me.

Surely no one would put them on a good pair of wings voluntarily?

oh my god,. thats my old car.. did not have the chrome arches a year ago , i can assure!
i did all those things listed... its a rubbish advert and will never get what he paid..

This was my original advert

TOTAL: £3510 plus what I paid for the car, which was a LOT! Impulse purchase, I saw it and had to have it!

I bought the car from a Doctor from Devon, he did not skimp on maintenance either!

Note that most of the above did not ‘need’ to be done, I just had this done for my
peace of mind and to get the car running and feeling like new.

The speedo was replaced as it is common for these to stop working on this model.
Have the old one too.

The only reason im selling is because I really don’t use it that much. It makes my
garage look fantastic, but apart from a few long trips to London, Devon, Scotland, it
spends most of its time being valeted or gawped at by passers by.

The car is advertised elsewhere so I will remove if a deposit is paid.

You cannot value this car using any book or guide, It’s a one off, but I think it’s a real gem and a bargain at the buy it now price!

The bids start at a penny and there is no reserve. I trust the Ebay community to decide a fair price for this one off car.

they have screws to the back too...

To be honest, i had the rear arches done as they had scabs on them but i wouldnt have thought they would have come back through so soon...

well the storage thing is bull as i sold it with 130K only a year ago and now its on 150K... my guess is there is something wrong..

I was bidding, but my gut told me there is something wrong so i pulled out..

p.s. he paid me well over £5.5K for this car... raising any suspicions?

Does look fairly cheap at £1000. I think he says that it was in storage before 2006 - ie probably before he bought it?

So if he's been using it from 2006-date, he might well have clocked up nearly 20K miles? Could also be rounding the miles up - eg 130K odd to nearly 150K?

Obviously Jay can vouch for the car when he had it, but I'm sure there's plenty worse SECs around for the money. The chrome arches on the back are a shame but understandable and probably no worse than others with them, can be fixed in due course.

Anyone bidding?

Will

I was just wondering if the guy who bought it thought it was being stored?

I know you were actually using it, but not that much?

'The only reason im selling is because I really don’t use it that much. It makes my

'

I think at £1K though it looks like a good buy?

Will

hmm but he implies it was stored recently... i cant believe there is no reserve? and a lack of effort on the ad... i mean he just copied and pasted some of mine!

But yes for 1K the kit on it is worth more..

The wheels, the bodykit, leather was all very good...

The wheels are quite unusual and sought after (more in Europe and the US than here) you'd nearly get your £1000 back on the wheels alone to the right buyer.

well they were refurbished by BJV... ill bid on it i think, but not going to go crazy as im just worried i will end up breaking it and it would be painful to break a car that i put a lot of effort into..

Chrome wheel arch stick ons should be made illegal by the fashion police, they are simply offensive:-)

Blue interiors never did it for me, like red - Marmite colours, you either love them or hate them.

Hi Jay
You certainly have some very nice cars, can it be both the words and the pictures that let this car down? Ten owners is not something I don't particularly like to see either.

John

The interior is awful, the leather looks terribly fitted.

Sold for £1020 (although the buyer has 0 feedback).
Looked nice for that price. Much better than this one...

Have you been at my medication? :)

John

When one says 'Had engine professionally tuned at Bosch specialist: £184',
What does this entail?.... What do you get for 184 quid?... Is it worth it?
