Regardless whether the OP was right or not to post, this is the result of a google on Euromerc. I would like to order form you Nick, but given the number of posts here would that be sensible - you tell me?

It's true that you have telephoned me a number of times, and each time I did explain that there is no tracking number as your bumper grille was shipped airmail small package rate, no tracking, I'm dissapointed that after our last conversation some time ago you feel the need to launch an internet/forum vendetta against me, despite me being down the value of the parcel and the £14 it cost to post it.

I hope you explained to the above that this is over a bumper grille and that I did not challenge your paypal chargeback and as I explained to you in our telephone conversaion afterwards I really is not worth me trying to defend a chargeback over such a small sum and with no tracking.

Well if the worse thing that has ever happened to you is to order something from another country, and then when requested recieved a full refund when you decide that it's taken a bit too long to land, I envy you.

Still at least you've got your new forum chums to chat to, I got tipped off about this thread earlier, and alas no longer contribute or look at the forum, so sadly won't be able hang out with you on here.
I knew he will get out; Gee, this is equal to seeing Elvis.
This sounds like a nice explanation if anyone is stupid enough to believe you. I asked you few times if shipping charge if sufficient, you never answered. I also don’t believe that it is possible to ship any packages overseas without custom declaration, which is traceable. Since I have not heard of any postal airplanes crashes recently I don't buy your story for one second. Once again, Nick this is not about money, it is about principles and not treating people right. I am sure that this forum is at big loss since you are not contributing any longer. Member’s tears will probably erase this tread with time; in the meantime I’ll tell you: this was perfect decision on your side.

I assumed our daily phone calls hinted that I do exist?

Why would I lie?

It's a label you stick on at the post office (ftp://ftp.royalmail.com/Downloads/public/ctf/rm/cn22.pdf), no need to get customs clearance for a bumper grille.

So it would seem.

Once again, Nick this is not about money, it is about principles and not treating people right.

What more would anyone have done?

Do what you like.

I'm like Marmite, me, you either love me or hate me, you can either filter out the screamers and join the lovefest, or listen and pay retail, it's really not something I'm going to lose any sleep over, sorry, but there it is.

I'm not losing any sleep over it I am pleased to say. Just bemused, as if it were my business I would be concerned at just how many negative experiences people have posted, and as a potential customer I do wonder how many more have not posted.

What superb customer service !

I'd keep things simple and f*** this man right off.

He doesn't deserve anyones business.

The unhappy ones are just a vocal minority, such is life, and unfortunatly some people are a bit werid and vindictive and and do like to go off on one.

If you look at some forums you'll discover that all the major UK supermarkets are out to get us all, all MB dealerships are "stealerships" etc, if you beleive everything on the internet you'd never leave home...

Well not really.

Man orders bumpergrille.

Bumpergrille goes walkabout over the atlantic.

Man asks for tracking number, man is told numerous times that there is no tracking number, and gets refunded.

What would you have done?

Count me in, for a start.
Sorry, Nick, but your style doesn't inspire confidence; for your own good I'd recommend a rethink of your business attitude.

RH

Legitimate complaints are always worth listening to, and dealing with, but plenty of the complaints about me tend to be nonsense from loonies.

I could spend all my time trying to placate the crackpots, or I could spend it looking after the proper people, which is a better for business?

Avoided p*ssing him off along with 100's of your previous and potential customers probably.

Calling customer loonies...NICE touch. And what is this link supposed to represent??? Like your thoughts, or way of communication it is unfinished, unarticulated, non-existent and does not take you anywhere. It is much better for you to get back to your cave... your comments represent just more embarrassment. You don't divide customers on small and big ones because you never know who is going to buy and what. I can guarantee you one thing: in your case, you will end up in a middle of your garage based business with no customers. That is inevitable regardless what your price is. I am also glad that you are not checking this website....LOL

Complete and utter rubbish. I ship hundreds of small orders via Airmail every year, and there is no tracking for it unless it's bought at extra cost. Even then, it's not very good, and far less reliable than courier shipping.

I don't live in the UK so I don't know that. I said I believe so because that is the rule in the US.
Difference between you and Nick is that you ship your packages; he does not, but he says he does.

I have bought from Nick and all I can say is, I ordered, paid and the parts turned up soon after. Nick answered my emails aswell.

Personally cant fault the service from my experience.

Manalishi,
please check this website and tell me what is wrong with their statement....
Sending outside the EU

You will need to complete, sign and attach a customs declaration to all items containing goods or gifts being sent to destinations outside the European Union, including “printed papers”.

Although I appreciate your position...I THINK it is possible to send stuff without a tracking number abroad (see last bullett point):

I agree, I think that's bizarre from a customs point of view.

Nick - I think you should take the following advice:
... I heard something the other day that said - being late and making people wait is making the assumption that your time is more important and valuable than theirs. It's a nice sentiment and stands you well in business too I think...

Before you make statments like this:
Do what you like.
I'm like Marmite, me, you either love me or hate me, you can either filter out the screamers and join the lovefest, or listen and pay retail, it's really not something I'm going to lose any sleep over, sorry, but there it is.

As you are really making it appear as if you think that you and your time is more valuable than others. Just my thoughts.
