Just seen on sky news Nissan are to recall 7000 quashqai's because of a steering wheel fault

Can't see the issue, its posted in the right section along with lots of other non MB and often non motoring related stuff.

It's all in the eye of the beholder, in this instance it's of interest to me as at a family get together last weekend my brother turned up in a Quashqai-silly name-
So I've left a message on his answer phone in case he's not aware.
However I think that's what the General Discussion section is for.....sh**e

Sorry if I was a bit direct, but when we spoke ths evening he wasn't aware of it(the recall), perhaps more worryingly for Quashqui drivers earlier this year he had some suspension parts/shockers on it replaced as a recall, given a choice I think I'd rather have a rusty Mercedes-Benz.

Sounds like Nissan are having some issues. Hope his works out ok.

Nissan and Renault have a tie up with MB that's going to get stronger. Pros and cons of these cars is of relevance here.
