no power to iphone cradle

Hi All

I have just got a w204 that has comfort phone fitted there was a blackburry cradle in it when i got the car, I have a iphone so got a cradle and fitted it in the comfort phone thing under the arm rest, but i cant get the light to flash on the cradle and there no power going to my iphone cradle or the blackburry

Any help please

Make sure the cradle is fully clicked home on the connector.

To get the light to flash, press and hold the small clear button on the front edge of the cradle.

Yes I do all that and the light does not flash, I have tried two different cradles and it looks like there is no power, on comand unit I can not active the Phone it says no phone in cradle.

I just purchased a W204 (registered nov 2007), and wanted to know if this car came with media interface installed from factory? Want to know this so I know if I can control my iphones ipod through the comand.
