Hope springs eternal in every human breast. In an age where misery seemingly prevails, what delight and joy to find such optimism in an act so mundane as selling a car. Just bring your own battery.

Had to have a read it is quality but I have decided to WALK away ;)

Tempted to phone up to make an offer (three 'no offers' on the ad) just to waste his time (two 'no time wasters');)

His brother is reluctant to sell......not surprised, every buyer is going to be knocking on his door wanting their money back!

Whats with the sail on the back and the fighting dog cage in the rear?

Seems like an absolute gem.

Ha....deluded beyond belief.

Is it any good for banger racing Charles ?:D

In this case BMW stands for Blind Man Wanted.

I believe this car, same ad, has been for sale for at least a year.
I think the tarp is covering the missing rear windscreen. Could be wrong, would help to have better photos.

I'd have said the first timewaster was the man who posted the ad. You can't argue with people who KNOW what something is worth. I recall a Renault 30 I rather wanted a couple of decades ago; it had been on sale for some time, at a price about 30% over the going rate, so I made him an offer. No sale; he KNEW what it was worth. The silly old sod still had it, at the same price, two years later when we moved away from the area. Reminded me of the sort of seller you occasionally find at autojumbles; "I know what it's worth; rather than sell it for less, I'd rather take it home." And that is exactly what they do....

The guy did you a favour !

About 6 months ago I sold my BMW E23 2.8 ltr with 9 month MOT in very good running order, no rust and original paint, a few small dents for £985. This heap £60.

The seller should consider doing stand-up comedy. What a hilarious ad :)))
