agree on the duck tail Stats. I think it really dates the car.
But, on the flip side, it is a classic look for mercs of that (or slightly earlier) era so for someone looking for authenticity it may be a positive.

Good on him. He is a nice chap, very good to deal with (bought my car on the basis of a phone call and a few emailed photos) and very knowledgeable.
He deserves to make a few quid, and is trying to make a living!!
He sells good quality cars and I suppose his customers are generally more interested in buying the "right" car than quibbling over a few grand here or there - fair enough.
