NTG 2.5 versus Command

How do I tell which version I have in my car. I am trying to work out how to get the telephone to connect and am unsure if this was fitted. There is some sort of OEM wiring in the centre console but nothing connected to it. Is something missing? Newbie here just after some help!

What model year is your CLS55? And can you post a photo of the infotainment unit in the car?

Built December 2005, registration January 2006. Other pic is the OEM cable type adapter. Nav unit and steering wheel both have the telephone symbols

That's COMAND NTG2.

It did not have built-in Bluetooth telephony, the Bluetooth was part of the optional Telephony system that was fitted inside the centre armrest.

You can also run the VIN in an online VIN decoder to see what options are fitted to your car.

Just saw your other photo, your car does have the optional Telephony system in the centre armrest, but the Bluetooth module is missing. You should be able to buy one on eBay.

Just make sure that you're getting a module that will fit your W219 - if in doubt, ask the seller.
