Does anyone have an OBD II socket and appropriate wiring available for a W210, preferably with as much wiring as possible to the 38 pin DTC connector.?
Are you thinking of buying a ScanGuage II? I have a 38 pin to OBD II lead but i am waiting until i get the ScanGuage to see if it works before buying an extension OBD male to female lead.

I have the part numbers (somewhere!) for the proper ODB-II mercedes socket and some pins
The US cars have an OBD-II socket, and a gateway module,(dependant on age) that makes the engine management communicate with OBD-II protocol - but the cars still have the 38pin connector for diagnosis of everything else

The p/n would be good, a scrapper OBD socket would be even better..
I've been investigating and am not sure the gateway is required for two reasons.
People do seem to have been able to attach a line to pins 4 and 15 to obtain output, though I'm not sure which reader they are using, possibly carsoft.
The ECU appears to have a direct ISO-K line output on pin 50 but not sure where to obtain an L line from. (if necessary)
Can someone lookup the connections for the X11/22 OBD2 socket. for a US E300Turbo.?
I opened up the 38 pin adapter i bought and she only connects to 1,3 and 4. 1 is ground, 3 is positive 12V and 4 seems to be fuel system. No mention of K line in desilva's diagram. I doubt mine will work straight out of the box.
Well I scanned the whole documents as Will asked for the wiring on the X22/11 ODB connector. I copied it out as above and it looks to me as the the pins are wired to receive info from all of the engines as
thats
what the numbers are. I was hoping that Will would have posted back, the info was foe a USA diesel 1998 on,, as ODB are data lines its quite possible for all the signals to be on 1 lead
