I have a dodgy oil pressure display on my 94 w124 e200. From reading other threads in this forum I believe the problem to be the sender unit.

The bigger problem for me is I can't find the b****y thing. Can anyone help please.

Thanks in advance

Easy Peasy, stand in front of your engine and look down the right hand side at the back of the block. You will see the oil filter. Under the oil filter is the oil pressure switch

Hi guys, I'm new to the group, I replaced the sender unit which is situated below the oil filter.....dam hard to get it off. But any way back to the point the oil pressure still reads 3 when the key is turn to position II (dash lights are on but engine not started) Any ideas?I have checked the single wire plug and it seems to fit ok. Do you think the sender unit is not earthing properly. Its an old 260E F reg...got it free so I cant complain :)

I have a similar issue. Did you ever resolve this ?
