OOOPS! (not me!)

thought I'd share this with you......quite satisfying really!

anywqay, there I was , stationary in my New (to me) C estate when a numpty reverses into the back bumper....no real damage to my car but thought I'd better exchange details as a) legally required to and b) incase I later find some damage eg to rev. sensor or similar

Anyway, matey boy in his ford focus scrapper starts the verbal abuse and says I should not have been stationary (remember, he REVERSED into me!)

I asked politely for his details and was met by a 'F--k Off ! as he sped off

was going to let it go but snapped his car on my iphone and another chap came over, said he's seen it all and would be a witness for me....thanked him and took the details.

so, thought I'd better report it to local plod who , surprise surprise were really helpful ...told me the numberplate on his car was not in existance but recognised the face!..also no tax or insurance!..

I'm starting to enjoy this.....so they have him (and know who and where) on failing to report, leaving the scene, tax, insurance and false plates.

RESULT!!!!!!!

and none of this would have happened if he hadn't sworn at me!...that'll teach him!!!

hopefully when they get hold of the scroat we will have 1 less scumbag out on the roads for at least a few months. I wonder what he would do if he hit a pedestrian?

A slightly similar thing happened to me. Except I was on the A3 and not parked.

Similar thing in my previous (now dearly departed) Audi 80 Estate. Parked across my mates drive, opposite another drive way. Between me and him was a properly massive road (as in I could turn the Audi in the road without a 3 point). They still managed to reverse all the way across and hit mine shoving in both the driver and rear door and leaving a massive scratch down the rear wing. I know it was them, as I had white paint on mine, and they had black paint on their (now well deformed) bumper, but didn't witness the accident.

Took photos and the number plate details and passed them to the local plod. Seems like he was an illegal immigrant who had escaped from being rejected, it was a stolen car on cloned plates and of course he didn't have insurance or anything.

I wonder if he ever knew that even leaving a note would have probably stopped me from doing anything (the doors opened and TBH the car was well past its by date).

So score another one for community minded people. Oh and it led to me buying my C-Class, so it wasn't all bad
