That's what I thought looking at your photos.As far as I'm aware 189 was not offered on the W124 as it came out just as production was ending.

As per the other Green Black thread going on...

I was wrong. My car is Blue Black, even though it doesn't look it (to me)

I was convinced it was Green Black.

But it isn't.

Yes it does,on my W202 it's on the front crossmember plate,in fact all car makes have paint code stickers somewhere on the body.

Green Black 189

GreenBlack, is basically a very metallic Black, it goes on the log book as being Black.
I know what you mean about Tormaline, I liked the colour but the car was quite hard to sell jjust because of the colour.

I know what you mean i've had BMW & Mercs in the past in green they (prestige cars) simply do not sell unless dirt cheap! My current car R reg C240 is in 189 Green / Black which is more blackish bluey with a hint of green.

My 300CE-24 was 199 - blue-black.

I've never seen another E320 coupe in 189 (cabrios, yes - coupes, no). I'd be interested to hear of another.
