I have some minor areas of the car that need paint touch ups due to discolouration/marks....Ive used the MB standard silver paint but of course once on its always gonna look flat, so just wondered what the best finishing would be - some kind of lacquer??

Sorry for appearing dumb, just want to use the right stuff. :dk:

Buy the correct laquer for the same paint brand you used or you may get a reaction in the base coat. Merc sell touch up paint kits for around a tenner with base and laquer like nail polish bottles complete with brush.

Allways use the above, but go to an artist shop and splash out on a fine small oil brush makes life and the painting much easier
