Quick question ( as as i cant PM Alfie due to lack of posts.... )

Can a Parrot car kit be plumbed into the Comand unit? or will it require a seperate speaker for the Parrot kit?

Only asking as in My Honda accord, i have the Bose Sound system with Build in Sat Nax DX, they could not get a cable to connect to the head unit and keep the sat nav voice commands working.

i have a 52 plate W163 with comand and also have a parrot 3200

How does one find out if Bose is fitted ( im rather hoping its not as it caused me no end of problems retro fitting stuff in my hpnda !!! ) The dealer said its got the bose premium sound pack, but there is no sign of bose on the stereo or the speaker grils and the VIN check ( via that russan web site ) didnt say it had it installed???

On the Parrrot front, ive got the CK3200 in my honda, its quite good when connected to my blackberry, not so good with the N95...

want to get a fitter to do the parrot install but would like to know what it connects to on the back of the comand ( dont want him fing up the comand install that alfie gonna to tuesday..)

I had a kit installed today & needed a seperate loom £70 due to the comand.

funny u just posted this, as i had a chap from ebay tell me the same thing, (69 quid for a loom if the car has a OEM amp fitted...)

The bury is starting to out sell the parrot's, so I've been told by 3 company's!!

The bury does look nice i must admit... but im not sure i want to fork out on the bury to go in the ML when the other half will be driving it more than me, and ive only got a Parrot 3200 in my car...

Well after using the Bury a few times now it's brilliant! works very well, & voice comands are spot on,

I have a parrot 3100 in my CL320 2000 model which has bose, and it was plug and play. I had to run a 12v ignition feed though from the cigar lighter, as the Audio 10 is awakened via the Can , as the radio only has a 12v permanent feed

I think the key thing is that I have analog bose (so the speakers still plug into the unit) rather than a fibre optic connection for digital bose.

The Parrot works very well for me, I will do a comand upgrade very soon, and am expecting no problems as the parrot works fine with Audio10, and I know that audio 10 to comand is fine with a bit of playing around.

maybe ill try my own install then, as theres been a fair few people working on the car recently and im feeling violated.. :-)

arnt there a lot of other wires with the parrot kit? i seem to recall a few when the chap fitted it into my honda. Oh and where is the best place to hide and secure the blue box of the parrot??

If there isn`t enough room behind the radio take the glovebox out, 4 hex head screws and 2 push in clips on the top inside, loads of room behind there.

I agree with bob, that is where I put mine, the cables should just connect in parallel. As said already the only potential issue that I see is getting a 12v switched feed, if it is not already there.
