It's been a slow afternoon for news, so my girlfriend's grabbing some bits from Sainsbury's and I've found an excuse to be a grumpy old man and sit in the car - keeping my whinging daughter company.

Anyway - after three attempts at parking, this was the end result for another customer, a 40 something tiny woman with huge heels.

It put a smile on my face.

I was in stitches when another customer asked if she was parking, or abandoning her car!

There was no car in front of, or beside this car when it was parked.:)

you think thats parked badly, this is just greedy :D

The first picture could also have been taken in Colchester Sainsbury's a couple of weeks ago when a similar person obviously waiting for used car dealer hubby had decided she was unable to park but instead blocked the exit route to the fuel station causing much bad tempered hooting and fist waving

Second picture - Yes, but you don't get your doors dinged by a family getting out of their Zafira.......... anyhow that is standard chav parking (usually cross a couple of disabled bays) in Lakeside, but most often an old beemer (pah!) with lowered suspension (double pah!)

....the Merc might get keyed instead, though ;)

Parking bays are too narrow so let someone put a stop to that.

Then park all on your own in the corner of the supermarket and come out to find the rest of the world wants to park next to you!!

You cruel ******* J. Have you any idea how hard it is for a 40 something tiny women with huge heals to negotiate a machine like that – the steering wheel is bad enough. She was adamant she was going to get it right, she stuck with it despite her husband telling her she could only have his car today - and she was premenstrual, I thought she did very well.

Hats off the Merc owner too, I always park like this in a supermarket. It is my recompense for society's inability to park next to me without dinging my car, and I’m proud of it! If anybody asks, I just tell them the nurse said I was not allowed to speak to anybody unless the Dr approved first. Solves a lot of problems. :) :)

Always fun to aim your trolley at the car park collecting points from about 5 metres away, give it a good push and see if you can park the trolley perfectly. Of course if there's a suitable location which saves you having to go 20 meters to the nearest official park then why not give a go? Of course there's the extra challenge of not having barriers to contain the trolley if you get it wrong.

;-)

I always take care to leave mine as close as possible to , but not actually touching , 'precious' cars .

However , if a gust of wind or careless passer by should move it after I've gone .......

So sad , too bad ........

Was watching an older couple trying to get their car out of a parking space next to a café in the lake district last Friday. There was a car on one side and a clear space on the other...took them 10 mins (no kidding!!) to get the car out.....thought they were going to scrape the car next to them several times but they stopped just in time....only managed to get out when the owner of the car next to them realised what was happening and directed them out before they did major damage to his car......makes you worry huh?
