Poll - Do you use winter tyres?

Not needed in 46 years and never been stuck in the snow, despite some bad conditions.

I have winter tyres but have not fitted them this year, down here in the deep South we have very few conditions/occsasions that require them if I lived further North then yes I would fit them every winter.
I have been caught out twice once in my van and once in my car where winter tyres and four wheel drive got me home when every other car was stranded.
I've just fitted my van out with Continental four season tyres as I needed to replace them anyhow so we will see how they perform.

Fitted for last five years, to be fair as I drive to Alps fairly often during winter it's a no brainer. Even so it's very reassuring when we get the odd falls of snow here in UK that the car is so sure footed
