Porter Cable Polisher

Just had a couple of hours with it polishing the Viano using Autoglym super resin polish ... Impressive

but you can not go wrong they are so easy to use and are idiot proof.

Excellent Job

Autoglym superresin always does a nice job, it was the polish I used first on the Porter Cable.

Nice paint finish but dont forget the shoes.

as my Father says "a nice suit with dirty shoes looks poor"

Give those wheels a good clean and gel those tyres

(I am just being critical, it looks lovely)

Great finish for a first go,car was in my garage most of the time,
[ just enough room]
every time i got the car out it RAINED

I will finish off tomorrow and take some pics.

What products did you use for the job? Which pads did you use on the PorterCable?

It would be great to hear these details.

I spent an hour and half today claying my Alloys and then putting polycharged Klasse on them. I have never clayed alloys before and it is excellent at getting all the muck off like those little bits a break dust that dont come off when you wash and the yellow stains in the corners. They look like new now.

As David from Autopia says:

"You think I am waxing my car here? No, my good man, I am putting on a fresh coat of envy! "

I used Meguiars gold class car wash.
dried car with Meguiars drying cloth.

then clay magic clay bar [ not a lot of dirt except on wheels ]
then Meguiars gold class car wash again
dried again.

then Sonus paintwork cleanser on a sonus sfx-2 pad [ white ]
cleaned of with Sonus der wonder polishing towel.

then Auto Glym super resin polish on a sonus sfx-3 pad [ blue ]
also polished wheels by hand.

Lot of work but worth it :bannana:
