Hi!

As you know I've had some problems with power loss (strange).
No one could really tell me what was at fault, STAR wasn't showing real issue.

http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=51457

Anyway, we went to Poland and MB dealer in Warsaw  (not the main one, in Piaseczno http://www.mbmotors.mercedes-benz.pl/content/poland/retailer-0/mb_motors_sp__z_o/pl/home.html) has fixed my car! :bannana:
It cost me around £300

- diags, test drive (1,5h)
- ATF change
- plastic board change (black, I have number on invoice if anyone interested, needs to be removed when changing ATF but someone has broken screw or something so they had to replace this board).

Bloke said that most people would not feel the difference as gearbox wasn't slipping and said that I'm very sensitive ;)

Anyway, I'm more than happy now as car drives as new!!!

My GF's dad is doing polish version of MOT so he has tested my car as well (more than one hour, everything was tested) and couldn't find any problems. :bannana:

I'm so happy now!

And good advice to anyone: change ATF every 50k and you will be fine :)
Advice 2: STAR is not showing everything and can be wrong.

I was lucky that I've spoken to someone who knows his job really well.
Cheers
Chris

That sounds like the gearbox electronic plate. A good result and price.

Dieselman, you are probably right.
I will try to get the number so you can check it.

Also, I was told to NOT use any diesel addictives. I was told that Mercedes has developed engines to run on REGULAR diesel (not V-POWER etc) and I'm asking for problems using this stuff.
They've seen broken engine in W204 and only explanation was that guy was using V-Power diesel. Less than 40k miles I think.

I've stopped now using Millers :( i don't really know what to do :(

Cheers
Chris
