i think mine, after 157,000 miels has finally thrown in the towel.
I have fluid leaking from somewhere in that area, a slight lowering of the fluid over about 500 miles it drops 5mm, and the shaft for the pump can be pushed in and out slightly (1-2mm)
can someone with a similar pump (on a M119 engine, no self levelling) push the pulley in and out (i.e. forwards / backwards wrt the car) and see if theirs moves at all?
the epc lists a gasket kit, but is not 'relevant for this bm' (epc speak for this car)
