Hello all.

Can anyone please help me on this. My drivers window has stopped working so i decided yesterday to check the fuses. Like a dope i left the ignition on, engine not running and after checking all the fuses for the window were correct I started the car. The Pre safe and Air bag warning lights are now on. My friend has a scanner and its stating voltage drop at circuit 30 as the fault code. It will not removed the lights. Further to , the window is still out of action.
Any knowledge please..?

Thanks in advance....

I suggest finding a local MB Specialist with the Star computer and let them run a diagnostic, most generic fault code readers are not able to remove airbag and related errors .

Only Star or some of the more advanced systems such as Carsoft can usually re-set those warnings, Star can also fault trace for the issue with the window.

Thanks DSM10000. Just wondered if my stupidity would cause this or is it just coincidence..

How much is the carsoft module. ?

I have no idea; a session with Star would be cheaper and you can be assured that Star (along with a competent user) could trace the problems.

I imagine the Pre safe and airbag lights are connected to fuse removals whilst the ignition was on. Hopefully a re-set should be all you need

Hello Jaymanek
I will double check it tomorrow, but thinking on, one thing I did do was put a fuse in 112. It states on the chart that this is for power windows front so I placed it in there. Do you think it could be that?
