I have a Nilfisk pressure washer and the hose from the machine to the lance is a nightmare - very stiff and coiled so difficult to move about with. I am aware that recommendations have been made for replacement hoses - can someone point me in the right direction?

I suspect the hose you have is the plastic coated type which are (IIRC) around 5-7mts in length. They are prone to kinking and the outer sleeve deteriorates after a few years. I should think you would benefit from having the heavier duty braided type hose.

We have a very good pressure washer supplies and service centre close by who make things like this.

However, when I got them to make me a hose for my Nilfisk it made the machine pulsate due to the Banjo fitting not being 100% airtight. We could barely see the difference between the two fittings, but it was enough to cause problems. That said, if you have a screw fitting to the machine you may well get away with a non-genuine hose.

If it's a hose with a banjo fitting that connects through the wind-up reel, it really is best to buy an original Nilfisk hose with the genuine fittings.
