Is there anyone who would have any idea on the value of my reg? Prefer to send a private message, thanks

Have I missed something here. :wallbash:

What is the Reg .:o

It's worth what some one will pay for it!

Try offering it to one or more of the online retailers, see what they say?

If the reg reads A1 I will up that offer to £25.

That's very true, it's only worth what someone will pay.

You could always post the details here - I have a collection of plates myself and have an interest in the cherished plate market. I could give you an opinion based on my knowledge of the market. If you wanted to PM instead of posting the details that's fine. Having said that I'm just a bloke on the internet :D

It's value will depend upon what type of plate it is. A number of things influence the price someone is willing to pay, for example:

length of number plate / number of characters
whether it is a true dateless plate
the numbers (e.g. single digit, repetitive number, consecutive numbers etc.)
whether it spells a name or features popular initials
whether it needs mis-spacing or any creative placing of bolts / screws etc ;)

e.g. 1 BEN would be worth more than 1 WYD

I have 50 LY for sale on retention - on line dealers price guides vary and thats the thing its just a guide. It means something quite unique to me but to others it may well be of a greater or lesser value. Id be interested in your opinion A-A

those things must of fallen in recent years, as they are out of vogue (ie naff) and there is far less money about to spend on such frivolity

The plate is featured in next months magazine - its up for stupid money (which they say they can get)

What do they think it spells?

I have RY52TYL. What it can be made to read is obvious. Ideal for someone with the name Robbie Till.

I changed my name by deed poll to Y256 GKR

I now have the perfect private plate.

Told you before, you really need to buy

N31 LRR.
