Problem With Sat Nav

I've got a build in headunit with sat nav, cd changer etc...
I've got the cd for the nav but the sat nav doesn't work.
Any ideas why or where I could go to have it checked? I live in North London, EN1

Can you be more specific about "Doesn't work"? The car and year would be a big help.

Does it power up, does the map screen appear, does the find address page appear?

The more information you give the better the chance you have of getting useful information.

Book it in to comand online and see them. They are the guys for this stuff.
They tried cleaning the laser on mine, whilst I waited, but it turned out to need replacement. Let the unit with them for a couple of weeks, and popped back to have it refitted, and all ok and working now.
I was a victim of the "buy a new (used) car", and took the guys word for it when he said "it just needs a new disc".
