problem with w220 electric seats

I recently put the top of the drivers seat back to give a good hoover between the Base and after doing this is went to put the seat back upright and it will go halfway up and then stop and won't continue any further. But rather strangely I can get it to go past that point if I use my preset seat position on the memory function

Try sending the base and back all they forward and all the way back.

I can't take the seat back all the way for that's the problem
