I'd just like to know how you disconnected the bloody factory tweeters. The clip seems to be impossible to get undone. If anyone can give me an explanation, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

do you mean the ones in the dash? above the vents?

have you got the cover off? if not - iirc theres a tag you push with a screwdriver from inside the vent.

then the speaker just pops out.... iirc..

Agree with Guy.

If you mean getting the tweeter oem flat panel cover off it is a little tricky. ie use a small screwdriver through the air vent and gently push the securing clip inwards ie towards the front of the car (iirc) at the same time as then prising it upwards to release it should then pop out

You can see the tags in the diagram at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5731678081

No, it's not that... It's getting the clip that connects the wires of the tweeter undone, it's the one covered in a little bit of foam (for some reason). I can get underneath the panels no problem, it's just disconnecting them from the clip.

gotcha - iirc its just a pull off. Get the foam out of the way, you may have to 'prise' the plug/socket apart with a small screwdriver if its tight, I didn't have to myself, but there was certainly nothing more to it than that I'm sure . . .

You were right... They just pull out.

*Idiot*
