R129 air con

Hi,I'm having trouble with my air con on a 1998 280 SL
The air con pump is not operating , I've had the gas checked and cleared any codes on the heater panel.
All fuses seem good.
Would anybody know if there is a in-line relay fitted and where lt may located??

...rather than having the gas checked I would be inclined to have a full regas performed? A purge and refill.
My sl320 air con wasn't working,sorted out by a refill.Also check the electrical connections at the indicator window point in the engine bay?

Cheers, I did have it purged and re gased .im touring Southern Europe at the moment and the garage that did the re gas ran out of time to start checking the electrics through.
So I'm trying to fault find my self at the moment , I can see the clutch is not engaging but it is also not seized so I'm thinking there is a live fault to the pump hence thinking it may be a relay.
Not sure what you mean about the indicator window in the engine bay , where is this located .thanks
