R129 Climate control panel

Hi,

Will a 1999 C43 Climate Control panel be compatible with a 1999 SL 129 panel?

I have seen a couple on ebay - one says it is and the other cheaper one says it is not compatible with my car.

Can anyone advise - to me they look the same?

There are 2 types of unit fitted a single temperature control and a dual temperature control

The one in your link is a single the one in THIS link is a dual.

You cant fit a dual in place of a single and vice versa but you can replace like for like from any model, for example when I replaced the dual in my W208 it came out of a W210
