Hi
2001 E200K W210
Middle of last week I got a message on display about battery and alternator problem and car was slow to start but fine after that. I decided this afternoon to clean battery terminals as voltages were all good. I used a memory saver via cigarette lighter when I disconnected battery but for some reason it did not work. I now have no radio code, message came on the display about ABS and BAS and also my electric windows will only go down but not up again:confused: .
Took stereo out to see if I could find a code but nothing obvious - normally codes are 4 digits but 5 are showing up on display. It is Audio 10 Model BE3100, Serial No Y2703560.
If anybody can help in any way with these problems it would be much appreciated? I really need to use car tomorrow for an important long trip.

Cheers

WRT the Audio 10, if it is the original factory fit then your MB dealer can find the code on their database

In my panic to get help because my windows were all wide open I didnt do any searches :-[
I have solved the BAS ABS problem - fully lock steering wheel each way and it clears it.
Windows now closed - half press button and they will come up and then hold close position for a few seconds. Have to do this on each window individually.
Just realised seat headrests would not adjust either - all you have to do is move seat fully forward and the hold headrest switch in up direction for a few seconds
It is like some sort of synchronisation process after power supply interupt.
Now just the radio - anyone able to help with a code - PLEASE :P

I had a similar problem with my audio 10,
dealer said that there was no code.
So i took out fuse for radio left it out for 5 mins and then replaced it.
Works fine.

Codes for radio's were dropped around 2001 and were coded once from new.

If MB cant help then call in a mobile radio de coding guy they charge £25

This one definitely has a code as it comes up on radio display looking for a code (5 digits). Thankfully another forum guy was able to give me a code last night so I am sorted:)

Maybe the difference is that this car is an import from Singapore???

Cheers
