Radio not saving presets!

Hi everyone,

I've just picked up my facelift w204 C220d estate but everytime I get in the car it has forgot my radio stations and presets. It's not annoying enough to travel 40 miles back to the dealer I bought from but has anyone else had this problem and is there a DIY fix? Everything else works great, it remembers blutooth and navigation settings fine.

So when you're on a station, you hold one of the phone number buttons until it beeps, then it's remembered. If you go to another station, then hit that number again it'll go back.

Is that not happening?

What system do you have?

It's whenever I turn off the ignition get out the car come back it all defaults to random stations despite me doing the autoset and then holding keys down to save my presets. The system is the comand one with a becker sat navigation.

Is the memory set to one of the keys?

Can't remember how it works, but you can make all the settings actuate with either key, memory seats etc. Try the other key on it, see if it does the same.

I can't remember how to set it up but I know mine has the facility for this. Different drivers each with their own stored settings.

Thanks for that idea, I've not used the other key so I'll give that a try when I get home.

Just tried my other key and no luck. Is there a way to update my comand system online or do dealers have to do it?
