rear camera

One thing my C220 hasn't got that I miss from my previous cars is a reversing camera.

I'm well happy fitting and wiring the camera unit itself but what I would like more info on is viewing the result.

Will I be able to display the image on the built in (bog standard) media/satnav screen ?

I suspect the answer may be no , so if it is , what replacement do I need to hunt down ? what do they use in cars fitted with a rear camera?

Just done mine this week, it's not as easy as on the earlier model (pre facelift) but once I sussed out the difference was easy and well worth the effort.

Can't comment on whether it will display on your sat nav screen ('cos I don't know), but I've always liked the rear view mirror type display, clips over or replaces rear view mirror and it's where you are used to looking. Had one in mitsi l200 and it was great, only downside is that whilst they do act as a mirror as well, they're not as good.

top of screen you need to click on 'User CP'

Then down left side 'Edit Options'

Then you just tick or untick the box for private messages (you need it ticked to enable if I'm right )
