wow!

2 AMGs is just plain greedy :)

Love the wheels .. they are the lightweight forged ones that cost extra on the CLS

I think that would be my variant of choice, as I prefer the front end to the current model, but it has the biturbo lump:thumb: Oh well maybe in a few years time in estate form, I'm not jealous in the least!
Same for me - like to have the target star on the bonnet!!

Great news Steve - and I agree with the sentiment above.

Welcome to the world of black cars - a DI vessel (though you might have one already) is a must now :thumb:.

How will you decide which to drive? - it would send (drive :D) me mad.

Congratulations! You'll love it :thumb:

Spec?

Not a great deal above standard (memory seats, DAB, etc.) which is pretty high on these anyway but has panoramic roof and reversing camera.

Has the black and red Comand so cant work out if that is Gen 3 or not, does anyone know?

I had a W207 in black before, drove me nuts keeping it clean and in the year I had it someone hit the front bumper and someone else did the rear bumper but of course didn't stop! Mind you, not helped that the plastic is black underneath so not obvious if, as they did, you just catch it!

DI vessel?

As to driving - sunny day, roof down; cold and wet....:thumb:

Yeah, alright! You were kicking your throttle over on my drive when you arrived on Sunday.... Like a proper little boy racer ;) :D
rash pay attention to your rear view mirror !!! Because I just spoke to Paul at ec and I'm going to do a little twick on my 63 !!!:D

If no LSD Steve, it would be worth having a chat with Acid this weekend.

Mine is a bit "graunchy" out of junctions, but it does keep the rear under control (to some degree).

Its not just the star, I much prefer the angular twin lights and the grille too, looks more aggressive IMO. Don't get me wrong I still like the newer model but it looks too similar to all the other models.

Bloody good choice I reckon mate.

^ +1 It's difficult to get enough traction on anything but a perfect roads surface with the LSD fitted, I would expect the traction control light would be lighting up like a Christmas tree without it :(

lovely choice! nice one !
