Its not just the star, I much prefer the angular twin lights and the grille too, looks more aggressive IMO. Don't get me wrong I still like the newer model but it looks too similar to all the other models. Bloody good choice I reckon mate.

I'm with you on that! I think this style is more grown up, luxurious if you like, more how I think a Mercedes saloon should be IMHO, not the child pulling his face look that the facelift has!

Congratulations on a lovely looking motor. As mentioned previously, LSD is definitely the first mod to consider. Transforms the car completely. As for drilling the ECU out which was also mentioned, no need for that. Acid has some little magic boxes which just clip on and are good for several more horses than standard.

Yeah, I saw the video. Boxes are good.

You'll see it in person on Saturday hopefully as the box is off it at the moment due to it having to go for a service with MB. Acid wants to check it on the Dyno without it, then it'll go back on again later in the day. Also having some minor exhaust mods done at the same time.

Not sure of the cost as I was a guinea pig when he first got them in so we're still sorting that out.

Developers blacked out windows should work well for that as well
