Refurb or buy new?

The 17" Alhena 5-spokes on my 210 are quite severely oxidised. I was thinking of buying a new set before I saw the price tag! £1000 for a set! Didn't realise these were still this pricey.

Anyway does anyone know if it is possible to bring oxidised alloys back to life? Or would you advise not to bother DIY and get them professionally refurbed?

Try FA Wheels in Hampstead. Visited them today and very pleased with the set up.
Got quoted £240.00 + VAT to fully refurb all 4 16'' wheels on my S211 and £260.00 + VAT for all four 19'' on Jag XF.

Will drop off Jag there in a few weeks time.
