Remap results

It looks like the print outs are from a dyno, they say DYNOmite test and a time of 14:29 for the pre remap and 16:08 for the post run, this may not be the case then?
I might be wrong.

So if it's 11% loss, it's making 552 BHP, if it's 18% it's at 587 BHP, that's mental for just a remap.

That's presuming it's at the wheels I personally thought 45 ponys got hungry and had buggered off so from what your saying my day just keeps getting better

I don't think that was actually achieved even at 1.11 gives 550bhp and that to me is a bit Larry never seen one doing that much power stock!

Only took 1 pic but got videos that I can't upload

Ricky I'm not saying you are making this up I'm only saying that results don't look right.

Between 510 to 530 is normally the values you would see at the flywheel after remap

Either way I'm happy the car drives and pulls better than ever before I was hoping for 500bhp. If it's not at the wheels then I've lost some ponies some where

enjoy it Ricky !:thumb:

The figures are at the crank....
That dyno is renowned for showing low figures but clearly shows the gains with decent enough lines.
Enjoy your new power :)

412 at crank surely it ain't right before remap .

I had the same on that dyno many times......showed over 100bhp down on 1st run......
Took it to another dyno and 100bhp more so all depends on many factors but you will surely feel the gains on the road :)
I've learned that it's the smooth graph and AFR that's important, not the figures although I do like to see the high numbers ;)

You can set the dyno to read what you like ;)

Ricky

Great to meet you today and thanks for your patience while we finished off the SL65. The numbers are the calculated flywheel numbers and the gain is right on the limit for an otherwise stock car,

Cheers Paul, thanks for clearing that up, this is another one of the less than 500 BHP cars then (4 now?), that was - as the figures show - down on power from the start.

Dyno numbers can be a nightmare for all concerned I have experienced it on my own car on dozens of different dyno's, this is lowest stock number we have seen at just under 413bhp for a C63 but one of the best gains.

It was no problem I enjoyed the drive home pulls so well and seems smother on the kick down and more aggressive other all it's been a awesome day
