Remote Key Fob Spare

Anybody know if these aftermarket spare/replacement remote key fobs which 'learn' from your existing remote would work ok on an early C-class as they are only about £30? http://www.tech-tronics.net

A replacement key, which includes a blade and electronic bit only cost me £56 from the dealer.
Check the dealer out first
