Removal Of Blaupunkt Tape Radio From W202

HELP! HELP!! HELP!!!
Just new to the MB world it's my 1st buy 1996 C180, I need to replace the radio to a CD player and wanna do DIY job, How do i remove it from the slot. Could anyone advise on the speaker size in mm and where other speaker slot are, system good for installation. I am think an install without an Amplifer/subwoofer, Or do i need Amp and sub.

If its a MB one youll need the special hooks to pull it out (keys) if its an aftermarket one there are different ways they are locked in. Alpine for instance has a latch system where the latch on both sides has to be in the middle to release the unit...........

If you speak to someone in halfords and tell them you need to remove the headunit so you can check on the wiring before buying a new one they might help you remove it . I tried this and someone came out to the car with a huge box of different keys and took the headunit out with no problems. I thanked them, went back inside for a minute then slipped out without buying anything
