Does anyone know how the coolant pipe is connected to the alternator in my car?

It is a 2002 c220cdi estate.

I am trying to remove the alternator, but can't work out how the coolant pipe is connected.

It is not mentioned in my Haynes manual.

The only comment in WIS is to replace the 'O' ring on reassembly. There doesn't appear to be any fixtures, so could be a push fit? Is there perhaps a circlip holding the 'O' ring in place?
It also recommends renewing the seal between the cooling housing flange and the engine housing to avoid leaks.

Hopefully Olly will comment ...

Thanks WN, it is a push fit as you suggested.
