Retro fit nav

Be gentle with me as a real noobie to the merc world I have just bought a 2003 c180 with the standard single shot cd unit , all fine , but I have been giving a merc sat nav unit from a sl500 of the same vintage , if I remove stereo and cubby thingy underneath it looks a straight fit . Now I not bothered about the nav working , what I want to know is it a plug and play ? Will it still work with the display on the dash ? And controls on steering wheel ?

In a word no. Sorry.

The SL D2B comand although similar in shape is different. It wont fit.
The CANBUS communication is also different.

The unit you need for the W203 is A203 827 52 42

Any picture of that unit suitable for w203?
It will play mp3 and show title on dash display?
