My 1999 C250TD has developed the common problem of air ingress of the fuel lines. I have changed all of the 'o' rings, including all of the fuel lines. I have also replaced the Pre-filter 'o' ring and the IP and heat exchanger.
I contacted http://www.mercedes-benz-parts.co.uk/ for advice on this problem. They stated that I had low pressure in the fuel lines and quoted a retrofit kit part number A2024700193. The kit was £100.84 inclusive.
I purchased the kit from them but it has arrived without any fitting instructions. The bag of bits includes part number A2024760432 (valve?)and has two wires on it (Blue and yellow) which are pre-terminated. In the kit there is also two rubber fuel pipes, loads of clips and jubilee clips. I have contacted Inchcape for further information, but so far no joy.
Does anyone know about this kit and if so, do you have a copy of the fitting instructions? There is no reference to these part numbers on the EPC parts system I have.
