Hi,

My car has currently got the Nokia 6310 cradle in the arm rest, however MB also do a cradle for the Nokia 6100 (and a couple of others now).

I got the new cradle, but it whilst it fits the phone, it doesn't fit the car. The new cradle has a (UHI?) connector on it which I assume slots into the 'pre wiring' that comes with new cars.

Has anyone successfully retrofitted these phones, and if so how?
Looks like I might be changing phones

Cheers, Matt.

I'd be interested in this as well, as I have yet to install a phonekit to interface with comand, if I can do this with a newer phone then I'd be very happy (my 6310i has seen some action, it IS pretty old now).

I'll see if I can take the underside of the armrest apart and see what connectors are in there. I might be able to do something if I can get at the wires.

Matt.

That's the spirit lad! Tear it apart and find out! Take pics please :)

The 6100 looks quite nice, pity it appears to have no bluetooth though, not that I ever use bluetooth really.
