Road Tax: Emissions for pre March '01 vehicles

Was just looking at the price of road tax and wondering what tax band my car would be in under the post March 2001 classification. I have an E280 estate 1999.

Any ideas?

£220 for the year.

For reference, I've got to tax a couple of mine this month - '99 E320 Estate (£220), but the CLK55 (2001/'51) is an additional £50 (£270).

Not the end of the world, and I guess justified considering it's done on emissions and it's a 5.4 V8.

Although you do not come under the emissions bands being a 1999 car, the CO2 is usually on the tax book (of newer cars anyway).
