Roaf Tax refund from DVLA - how long?

Any idea on the average time for a refund?

It used to be about a fortnight.

I'm waiting 8 weeks for one at the moment.

Normal?

Normally a couple of weeks mate

ages, 4-6 weeks minimum, at 8 weeks id give them a call.

I did one a couple of mths ago and it came in a few days.

However the registration change acknowledgement took a few weeks, and that usually only takes a few days. So I conclude it's pretty random. I'd certainly be called after 4 weeks though - at 8 weeks it starts to get difficult to track things.
