roof not opening re boot separator

hi - just got a CLK200K CAB and when i try to put the top down it is saying close boot separator - that will not stay down and dosnt seem to click in - i am sure there is an easy solution so can some one please tell me what it is - thanks

I had the same problem when I first bought my cab, you will find two small hydraulic arms, one either side in the boot area attcahed to the boot seperator, these are more than likely failing due to a fluid leak, they need to be replaced, 5 minute job to change but they are approx £25 each from MB dealer, I looked on ebay for 6 months in the winter spell but none came up so bit the bullett and purchased new from MB, hope that helps.
