The main star shaped bolts (Torx I presume) at the top and bottom of my front brake calipers have gone rusty - it's not causing any problems but it just looks shyate.

It's happened to both my cars, 2007 and 2009. I suspect the salt on the roads recently has not helped, but even so I would not expect this.

I was debating whether to paint them myself (may cause problems removing them), a quick rub with wire wool, or see if they can be replaced under warranty.

Anyone else had this?

You could ask if MB will replace them under warranty/goodwill I guess as the cars are so new?

But otherwise, new bolts should only be a few quid, or a quick dab of paint to make them look nice again. The corrosion is normally only a cosmetic issue - a bit like the wheel bolts normally :o
