I'm preparing the S203 for its MOT .
One of the minor niggles is that the parking brake ( due to being an automatic car does not see a lot of use ) does not release fully by itself , usually needing a foot under the pedal as the release handle is pulled to get it to come fully off and get the warning light to go off , although it works absolutely fine and holds the car OK on hills .
I understand this is quite a common problem and that lubrication is needed .
Can anyone who has done this before say where it tends to stick and where I need to lubricate - is it the cable , or the mechanism in the brake drum ?
