Hi, I recently bought my first Mercedes a 1998 S210 E300 DT after driving my son in laws (PeterE320CDi). I really like it but have noticed that I can not manually select gears with the autobox. The lever moves from Park down to Drive OK but will not move across to 4th, it feels absolutly solid. Has anyone got any ideas on whats causing this, it performs normally when in drive. Thanks Doug.
