S211 E63 Wanted

Look just stop messing about. I'm going to my dealer to find you an S212 63. You're annoying me now !!!

That's very generous of you my friend, but I can't let you buy me one, even as much as you may insist. :D

Sorry Lee I don't. But are you sure you want to go Na? Remember you didn't like the delivery of the ML?

That was four wheel drive though, that was the big issue.

This is my thought process behind a W211 E63: it has to be an E AMG: S63 too old man, C63 too small and also some of the absolute bell ends that own them really put me off. Ideally I want a facelift S212 E63 but that's on the back burner for a few months due to certain investments, I'm really not taken with the pre-facelift W212 E63's so that's out of the window, I owned an S211 E63 a few year ago but only for a week, I've owned a couple of E55K's and just fancy something a bit fresher.

Plus E-Class AMG's of any era are exactly what I look for; Q-Car.

I see the logic and I will be very interested in your feedback when you get one. I really want a facelift W212, but don't have the available cash and don't do finance.

Toyed with getting a W211 E63 early last year but bottled it. Was worried I would miss that FI shove.

If I hit another £1000 pothole I'll give you my S212 for feck all and buy a bangernomics car .

SPX, if you tell me where developer lives, I know a good builder who could go round and dig a strategically-placed pothole one night...

Spoke to a trader today about an S211 E63 they've got for sale and his most used phrase was "you're my worst kind of buyer because you know these cars inside out".

He said this at his most exasperated when I asked to check the keyless go handles and only one worked....

Lee the W211 E63 was one of my favourite cars I've owned and longest at nearly 2yrs BUT it's all the silly little niggles that in the end made me sell it on.

There was always something needing done on it and now that they are 10yr old for the earliest ones there will be more things needing done.

I got rid after fixing everything.

Yeah, I agree pal, the wife isn't best pleased about me buying an 'older' car so I've now included C63 estates into my search along with (and in no particular order)
Heart:
RR Sport (facelift)
Quattroporte with ZF box
C63 estate
Jaguar XFR

Head:
S212 E350 CDi Sport (pre facelift)
S212 facelift CDi Sport
(2012+) Audi A6 Avant 3.0 TDI
Q7 4.2 TDI
Jaguar XFS SB (facelift)

50% heart 50% head:
CLS 350 CDi SB

Thats quite a list there, I wouldn't know where to start.

I use my 7 as a daily but went out in the C63 just to give it a run and my god I got out with a sore back and thinking to myself I couldn't possibly use that as a daily. It's just that little bit too full on for everyday use.

Not only that it makes you drive more like a *****.

204 C63 has very firm suspension .. with PP, more so.
